Event notifications may be generated from information held in the database. Most often these are used to send emails notifications to employees or management.

Actions General actions assigned to employees and tracked through from creation to completion.

Accident/Incident actions Remedial actions, describing what was done after the incident occurred, or follow-up actions attached to the incident and allocated to an employee to complete.

Certificate/Licence renewals Certificate and licence issue and renewals. For example, forklift or welding certificates and driver's licences which have an expiry date and must be renewed.

Contract renewals A Contractor is a supplier that has the contractor (services) check box checked on. If the extended contractors module is installed, information is maintained the contractor's individual contracts.
Each individual contract has a review date and event notifications may be generated based on the contract review date. Each contract has one ore two contract supervisors and the principal contract supervisor is usually set up to receive these notifications.

Contractor approvals A Contractor is a Supplier that has the Contractor (services) check box checked on. If the Extended Contractors module is enabled an Contractor approval event is generated based on the contractor approval date. Usually contractors require an annual approval where and notifications are often set up to be sent before the contractor approval expires.

Employee related actions Associated with a particular employee, e.g. when an employee review is due. You can assign another employee to complete the action for the employee who is the subject of the action.

Employee reviews Employee reviews of a specified type, e.g. annual reviews, may be scheduled for individual employees. An event may be generated based on the date the review is due.

Equipment checks When equipment issued to employees needs to be checked, replaced or returned.

Health monitoring checks When employee health monitoring is due for different types of checks.

Health monitoring actions Follow up actions associated with an employee's health monitoring results.

Hazard assessments When a hazard is due for assessment or reassessment.

Hazard actions Associated with a particular hazard and allocated to an employee to complete. These could be controls or work required to minimising the hazard.

Meeting notices For meetings scheduled in the future.

Meeting actions Generated as resolutions of a meeting or required to be completed before a meeting. Such actions are allocated to an employee to complete but belong to the meeting group and are carried forward from meeting to meeting until completed.

Non-serious accidents A safety incident where injury occurs but is not of a serious nature. Notifications may be generated when such an accident is created.

Rehabilitation actions - created to help monitor the rehabilitation of an employee after an accident and assigned to another employee to follow up.

Serious accidents A safety accident where injury occurs of a serious nature. Notifications may be generated when a serious accident is created.

Training requirement for employees When an employee requires training for a topic i.e. they have a "next date", but the employee is not scheduled on a course. The requirement is created when an employee's job type is selected or changed, or when a training topic is added to employee's training requirements. The "next date" is updated after training is completed if the topic has a repeat frequency.

Training scheduled for employees When an employee is allocated to a training course in the future, perhaps with other employees and the course has not yet been marked as completed.
