icon on the toolbar. Select the H & S Options tab.
Use this tab to store the information about the STMP server used to send email event notifications.
The name of you SMPT mail server e.g. mail.yourserver.co.nz.
The name of the port in thePort field (normally 25 for email).
The email account you will be sending from. All email from the notification server will be sent from the one account.

The user account the emails are sent from in theform "Name"<email> or email.
SMTP Helo (or EHLO command) is required by some servers. If blank it will be set to the domain name.
The email address in the form "Name"<email> or email to where any relies to notifications will be sent. This could be the safety officer or a trash email address if replies are not required.
The number of seconds the notifier will wait after sending notification emails until it checks for new notifications. The value of this depends on the volume of emails the server will be expected to send and the loading of the computer running the notifier. A good value to start with is 5 to 30 seconds, but you may want to increase this value if not many emails are expected.
Email address to which the email server should send an acknowledgment of receipt to. Not all email servers allow this.
Check on if you are using a secure server. This can slow down email sending. This will use SSL, in fact TLS if checked on. This option is the way to send secure emails if your server supports it.
