The Event notification server monitors events generated by activities in the SafetyLink Risk Manager and emails notifications about the events via an SMTP email server defined in the company and site setup.
Note: If you are running under a thin client e.g. Citrix or Terminal Server do not start the notification server on your own computer because your application is really running on the application server and not on your own computer. In this case get your systems administrator to set up the notifications server.
The Event notification server may be run as a process or service, on your own computer or a server. If you are unsure of these terms please contact your systems administrator or contact Compliance Solutions for help before continuing.
