Setting up events and notification emails requires the following steps:
Understanding event types (see Types of events).
Setting up your event notification options, including enabling and disabling event types (see Setting up system-generated event options).
Setting up the notification SMTP email server details (see Setting up the event notification server).
Ensuring the email notifier "hsenotifier.exe" is running (see Running the event notificationn server). This must be running on at least one computer attached to the network for notification emails to be sent.
