Email Method for Reports (Not events)
When you generate one of the reports available in the Compliance Manager you can email the report in one of several formats. Select from the following email options:
Outlook Express with embedded report: Select this option if Outlook Express is your email program. The report will be included in the body of the email.
(Note this option work only with the XP version of Outlook Express, not Vista or Windows 7 onwards)
Outlook 2000 (with RTF attachment): Select this option if Outlook 2000 or later is your email program. The report will be sent as an RTF attachment.
Outlook 2000 or above (with PDF attachment): Select this option if Outlook 2000 or later is your email program. The report will be sent as a PDF attachment.
Send to SMTP Server (with PDF attachment): Select this option if the report is to be created as a pdf, which is then sent back by email to the use. Each User must have a work email address specified in their employee record. Also the SMTP Server details must have been set up in the Event Notification Server Tab, in the Company details.
This last option is useful when line peed is slow or if the server does not have a local printer close to the user (e.g. when running the application using RDP).
